Owner, Don Jamoles

"I am in the best shape of my life. I couldn’t have done this without the awesome people at NKC CrossFit. In 3 months I’ve lost 8 lbs. and I went from over 16% body fat to right at 12%, and I’m stronger now than I have ever been across the entire range of Olympic lifts. This isn’t the easy path, but the measurable results don’t lie. You’ve taken my family in as yours, and I am forever grateful."
— Jason B.

"I’m moving weight I never thought I would, climbing ropes, doing handstands and working out way outside of my comfort zone. Plus, loving every minute!"

— April A.

CROSSFIT IS CONSTANTLY VARIED FUNCTIONAL MOVEMENTS PERFORMED AT HIGH INTENSITY

All CrossFit workouts are based on functional movements, and these movements reflect the best aspects of gymnastics, weightlifting, running, rowing and more. These are the core movements of life. They move the largest loads the longest distances, so they are ideal for maximizing the amount of work done in the shortest time. Intensity is essential for results and is measurable as work divided by time—or power. The more work you do in less time, or the higher the power output, the more intense the effort. By employing a constantly varied approach to training, functional movements and intensity lead to dramatic gains in fitness.

Our program delivers a fitness that is, by design, broad, general, and inclusive. Our specialty is not specializing. Combat, survival, many sports, and life reward this kind of fitness and, on average, punish the specialist.

The CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience. We’ve used our same routines for elderly individuals with heart disease and cage fighters one month out from televised bouts. We scale load and intensity; we don’t change programs.
